Ethan Rein received this hobby for 2009, and chose to put on a demonstration involving all campers on Day One at Winter Camp XXXIII in a festival of deckles and couching. Since his project started out with existent paper, calling it "papermaking" may have been a bit of artistic license. The success of the event was indicated by the fact that the Beaver Creek building was adrape in drying paper for much of the Weekette.
