Encyclopedia WinterCampica - Palamedes Lunch
In Greek legend, Palamedes is a hero of the Trojan war who is credited with the invention of Dice. At Winter Camp XXXIII, his legend was honored with the first lunch, which saw campers issued special Dice labeled "Soup", "Sandwich", "Drink", and "Donut". The remaining two faces were blank. Each person rolled his die to determine which foodstuff he would eat next. Gabe Church somehow managed to bounce a die into his glass on an overly exuberant roll.
