At Winter Camp VII, the new hike was an effort to retrace Steve Donohue's path as he wandered lost through D-A during the third Ceremonial Training Weekend, in 1978. Steve had cleaned up the site of the " Which Path To Take?" ceremony performed on Friday night and intended to find his way back to Cow Camp from the Beaver Creek highlands to the west of Beaver Lake. His trail meandered along an uncertain course which included the nearby cemetery, two gravel pits, a vicious dog, and a spot where he saw a bear holding a Pizza.
