| Description | Teams solve a variety of clues to complete a giant tic-tac-toe game |
| Basics | Players are organized into teams who compete to complete a giant tic-tac-toe game. The playing pieces are 10 giant X's which are double-sided, one side painted white and the other blue. As players recover pieces they can choose to return them to place them or to try to collect enough to make their three in a row in one fell swoop. Each piece has two puzzles which point to two other pieces. The puzzles could be anagrams, codes, visual hints, etc. Each puzzle will resolve to the name of a cabin or location at D-A. Arriving at a location, the team can take the X and then solve one or both puzzles, they can then choose which X to go to from there. They can solve both but must leave one behind for the next team. The first team to return enough x's to the board to get 3 in a row wins. If neither team gets 3 in a row, then whichever team puts 5 pieces on the board will win. |
| Why is this something we want to do? | It's basically a treasure hunt. |
| Variations: | The game could be played solely with map and compass, making all the clues paths to another cabin. |
