Introduction
Winter Camp began with a simple idea that some friends would get together between Christmas and New Year's at D-A Scout Ranch. That first Winter Camp was very different than any that have come since. It had no schedule, a very simple menu, and was basically a one-man show, with Jeff Rand serving as leader.
Winter Camp II really set the model for Winter Camps to come by incuding scheduled activities and themed meals. Later, we added governments and eventually a week-long theme with varying degrees of success.
In this area, you can see nearly all the themes, meals and activities ever suggested and even make some suggestions of your own.
If you're planning to use one of our ideas, we'd love to hear from you. We might be able to give you more advice than you can find here or maybe you can tell us how you changed the game to make it better.
